The German designed Lorentz Helical Rotor (HR) and Centrifugal (C) submersible pumps are designed specifically for solar and battery operation.
The Helical Rotor systems are designed for higher lift applications where the Centrifugal systems are designed for lower head, higher flow applications.
Offering high reliability and long life expectancy, these maintenance free systems provide cost-efficient pumping.
Aussie Solar Installations has a network of installers NSW wide, contact us today regarding your needs for a solar pump.
Applications
- Drinking water supply
- Livestock watering
- Irrigation
- Etc...
Motor
- Brushless DC-motor
- Water filled
- Dynamic carbon/ceramic slide bearings
Pump Wet End
- Helical rotor pump (positive displacement pump)
- Two (2) main pump parts only, stator and rotor
- Stator: Geometry made of abrasion resistant rubber
- Rotor: Stainless steel, hard chrome plated, abrasion resistant
- Sand causes less damage than other pump types
- Self cleaning
- Non-return valve
Controller
- Mounted at the surface (no submerged electronic parts)
- Two (2) control inputs for well: Probe (dry running protection), float or pressure switches, remote control, etc.
- Overload protection
- Speed control, max. pump speed adjustable to approx. 1/2 flow rate
- For solar direct systems: integrated MPP-Tracking
- For battery systems: low voltage disconnect and restart after battery has recovered
System Models
The following Lorentz systems are available. They vary primarily in the amount of solar power input the controllers can support and, hence, the flow rate and lift provided by the pump.
PS 150 C
- Lifts up to 22m
- Flow rate up to 5.0m3/h
- 12-24VDC nominal voltage
- Solar input between 65 - 450Wp
PS 200 HR/C
- Lifts up to 50m
- Flow rate up to 2.7m3/h (5.0m3/h Centrifugal)
- 24-48VDC nominal voltage
- Solar input between 80 - 300Wp
PS 600 HR/C
- Lifts up to 180m
- Flow rate up to 11m3/h
- 48-72VDC nominal voltage (48VDC for battery operation)
- Solar input between 300 - 900Wp
PS 1200 HR/C
- Lifts up to 240m
- Flow rate up to 21m3/h
- 72-96VDC nominal voltage
- Solar input between 350 - 1200Wp
PS 1800 C
- Lifts up to 50m
- Flow rate up to 22m3/h
- 72-96VDC nominal voltage
- Solar input up to 2500Wp
