Important Notice for Green Vouchers for Schools

The National Solar Schools program replaced the Green Vouchers for Schools program on 1 July 2008. The Green Vouchers program CLOSED at 5.00pm (EST) on 30 June 2008.

Green Vouchers claims will continue to be accepted for eligible expenses incurred or contracted between 17 July 2007 and 30 June 2008. Schools that have not submitted a claim for Green Vouchers by 30 June 2008 but that have incurred eligible expenses can still lodge a claim. Schools that do lodge a claim after the 30 June 2008 deadline will be required to provide evidence of their financial and/or contractual commitments.

 Projects funded under the National Solar Schools Program must meet certain requirements

  • The works must be carried out at a clearly defined school site.
  • The supply and installation of any photovoltaic system must be done by an accredited renewable energy designer/installer
  • All works must be completed by a suitably qualified person and installed according to relevant Australian Standards.
  • The cost of on-ground works must be related to the installation of eligible items
  • All the necessary Federal, State and local government regulations must be met and approvals obtained.

It is anticipated that schools will complete their projects within six months of receiving funding.

If your schools is a multi campus school with over 1000 students, your school may be elibable for additional funding. A school employee must lodge the claims under the National Solar school program website.

Once your Solar system has been installed you must submit a final installation report outlining the etire works of the system. Our installers will do that work for you.  Another reason why to choose, Aussie Solar Installations.
